Rangers' Girardi, Prust Undergo Successful Surgeries
Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that Dan Girardi underwent successful surgery yesterday to repair his inguinal hernia.
In addition, Brandon Prust underwent successful surgery today to repair a labral tear. Both are expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Canucks' Salo May Miss Game 7
It appears the Vancouver Canucks will have to play Game 7 against Chicago on Tuesday night without injured defenseman Sami Salo, according to an ESPN.com report.
Head coach Alain Vigneault wouldn't confirm the absence of Salo, who left four shifts into Game 6 on Sunday with an undisclosed injury, saying only that he was day to day.
Mike Green Says He'll Return For Next Series
Capitals defenseman Mike Green took part in the full practice Tuesday, three days after getting hit by a puck in the series-clinching win against the Rangers. He said he's good to go for the first game of the next series, whenever that happens to be, according to the ESPN.com report.

Blackhawks winger Bryan Bickell underwent surgery on Monday to repair a lacerated tendon in his wrist and will miss Game 7 on Tuesday night against the Canucks, according to an ESPN.com report.
Kings Activate Parse Off IR
The Kings have activated forward Scott Parse from the injured reserve list, President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today. Parse will be available for Game Five tomorrow at San Jose.
Parse, 26, missed 77 regular season games and the first four games of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with a lower body injury. In the five regular season games he played (Nov. 4 through Nov. 15) he had four points, zero penalty minutes and a plus-5 rating.
Mike Knuble Won't Play In Game 5
Capitals forward Mike Knuble will not play in Saturday's Game 5 against the Rangers.
Knuble also missed Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first-round series, which the Capitals lead 3-1 after Wednesday's 4-3 double-overtime victory.
Knuble Expected To Miss Game 4
Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau wouldn't say whether forward Mike Knuble will play Wednesday night in Game 4 of Washington's Eastern Conference quarterfinal against the Rangers. But all signs point to Knuble sitting out, according to an ESPN.com report.
A number of Capitals players said Knuble isn't expected to play because of an undisclosed injury.
Zetterberg Won't Play Game 1
Red Wings center Henrik Zetterberg says he's out for least Game 1 against the Coyotes, according to an ESPN.com report.
Zetterberg arrived at Joe Louis Arena on Tuesday morning with a brace on his left knee and got a ride to the dressing room on the back of a cart.
Third-seeded Detroit opens the playoffs Wednesday night at home against sixth-seeded Phoenix.
Williams Close To Return For Kings
The Kings are close to getting back leading-scorer Jason Williams as they prepare for their first-round playoff matchup with the Sharks.
Williams, who sustained a dislocated right shoulder March 21 against Calgary, went through a full practice Monday.
"Everything has come along great," he said. "I feel comfortable and I want to maintain that comfort this week. If I do suit up for the game, I want to be able to bear it and not have any second thoughts."
Williams, who has 22 goals and 35 assists this season, has endured a number of injuries during his career but never a shoulder injury.
"New for me and new for my game," he said. "I don't know if I'll have to alter anything."
