Buffalo's Miller Returns To Practice
Sabres goalie Ryan Miller returned to practice on Wednesday.
After practicing for the first time since sustaining a concussion Nov. 12, Miller didn't give a definitive timetable for his comeback.
"I wouldn't," coach Lindy Ruff said, "rule the weekend out."

Injured Rangers defenseman Marc Staal has begun skating lightly on his own, according to sources.
The 24-year-old skated briefly for the first time Monday since being shut down for post-concussion symptoms last month.
Staal skated again Tuesday morning at the Rangers practice facility in Westchester.
He has yet to play a game this season and remains on injured reserve with post-concussion symptoms stemming from a hit by his older brother Eric Staal last February.
Pronger Will Miss Month After Knee Surgery
Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger will have surgery on his left knee Tuesday and will be out for one month.
"The procedure will clean out some loose particles that have given Chris some problems over the last month or so," Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said in a statement.
"We were hopeful that the time missed with a virus that Chris has been fighting would settle things down in his knee, but after an examination yesterday, it was decided that the surgery is the way to go at this time.
"We expect Chris will be back playing in four weeks."
Taylor Hall Out 2-4 Weeks With Shoulder Issue
Oilers forward Taylor Hall will be out 2-to-4 weeks because of an injured left shoulder.
The team made the announcement Monday night after a 2-1 home loss to the Predators. Hall had an MRI exam earlier Monday.
"I thought I was going to be out a shorter period of time, but two-to-four weeks isn't that bad," Hall said.
"It's not like I am missing a huge chunk of games where it would then take me three or four games to get back into the swing of things. I want to get back into the swing of things as quickly as possible, obviously. I'll just try to rehab it as quickly as I can."
Kari Lehtonen Among Injured Stars
The injuries continue to mount for the Stars, who lost goaltender Kari Lehtonen, defenseman Trevor Daley and center Vernon Fiddler during Saturday night's 3-0 loss at Phoenix.
Lehtonen was the first to go down, leaving just 5 minutes, 31 seconds into the game with a groin injury.
"It's a little bit of a groin pull there," said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. "We'll see how it is. It's one of those things you don't see the extent until you see it the next day."
Gulutzan said Lehtonen is unlikely for Monday's game at Colorado.
Stars Put Brenden Morrow On IR
The Stars have placed captain Brenden Morrow on injured reserve Saturday, retroactive to Nov. 21.
Morrow has missed the past two games with what is officially being listed as an upper-body injury that he suffered in Monday's game against Edmonton.
Seabrook, Frolik Return To Practice With Hawks
Injured Blackhawks Brent Seabrook and Michael Frolik returned to practice and could play against the Sharks on Wednesday.
Frolik has missed two games due to an upper-body injury believed to be his shoulder while Seabrook has missed the past three with a left leg ailment.

Maple Leafs' Komisarek Out Eight Weeks
Maple Leafs defenseman Mike Komisarek will be out at least eight weeks because he needs surgery for a broken arm, according to an ESPN.com report.
Komisarek suffered the injury in Nashville on Thursday.
The Leafs also recalled forward Joe Colborne from the AHL prior to Saturday's game against the Capitals.
Evgeni Nabokov Out Indefinitely
Islanders goaltender Evgeni Nabokov is out indefinitely with a groin injury.
Nabokov left New York's 4-3 win over Montreal on Thursday 7:55 into the first period after suffering the injury.
The 36-year-old made a save with his right pad on Montreal's Yannick Weber and went down immediately afterward in obvious pain.
Backup Rick DiPietro came in to replace Nabokov, making 24 saves in relief to record his second win of the season.
