The Chicago Blackhawks are shutting down defensemen Calvin de Haan and Brent Seabrook for the season with both set to undergo surgery on Friday, the team announced Thursday.

Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker will miss four to six weeks after having surgery to repair a fractured right fibula, general manager Bill Guerin said.

St. Louis Blues forward Alexander Steen will return from a 16-game absence Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks, according to the team.

Steen has not played since suffering a high ankle sprain in a collision on Nov. 6 against the Edmonton Oilers.
