Sep 6, 2014 5:43 PM

Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa is expected to be out for four months after undergoing shoulder surgery on Friday. That would push Hossa's debut with Chicago to late November, roughly two months into the 2009-10 season. "Marian's surgery [Friday] went as well as we had hoped and he is right on track for the anticipated recovery we had planned on, which is approximately four months," said Michael Terry, the team's doctor.
