The Ducks announced today that the club has signed Executive Vice President and GM Bob Murray to a four-year contract extension which runs through the 2015-16 season. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

Capitals Sign Hendricks To Extension
Matt Hendricks has signed a two-year, $1.6 million contract extension with the Capitals.
Hendricks signed the deal Wednesday, further cementing his place on a team he joined on a tryout basis in training camp.
Byfuglien Signs Extension With Thrashers
Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has signed a multiyear contract extension with the Thrashers, the team announced Tuesday.
The five-year extension was worth $26 million, a source told ESPN.com.
Stars Sign Jason Williams
The Stars have agreed to terms with free-agent forward Jason Williams on a contract for the remainder of the season.
The deal is a two-way contract -- $500,000 with the Stars, $105,000 if he is in the minors.
Williams, who has 91 goals and 129 points in 420 NHL games and won a Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 2002, is expected to practice Saturday and be available Sunday when the Stars host the Blue Jackets.
Ducks Sign Ray Emery To One-Year Deal
The Ducks have signed Ray Emery to a two-way contract with the intention of signing him to Syracuse of the AHL.
Emery has been placed on waivers and should clear on Tuesday morning.
Avalanche Sign Peter Forsberg
The Colorado Avalanche announced Sunday that the team has signed forward Peter Forsberg for the remainder of the 2010-11 season.
The former Hart Trophy winner has decided to try an NHL comeback after practicing with the Avalanche since Jan. 22.
He is expected to join the team and be available to play at some point on their upcoming road trip.
"We're proud to announce that Peter will be back in an Avalanche sweater," said Avalanche General Manager/Executive Vice President Greg Sherman. "Peter believes he can compete at the NHL level based on how his workouts went. He will provide additional leadership to our club and he will have an impact with this young team."
"After testing my abilities with NHL players over the last few weeks, I feel confident that I can play at the NHL level and help this team," said Forsberg. "I wanted to see where I was at physically and I am ready for this new challenge."
Leafs Extend Mike Brown's Contract
The Maple Leafs signed checking-line winger Mike Brown to a three-year contract extension Wednesday.
The deal is worth $760,000 for the 2011-12 season and $725,000 for both the '12-13 and '13-14 seasons, according to a source.
Brown, 25, is in the final year of a contract that pays him $575,000.
