Bruins Sign Charlie Coyle, Chris Wagner To Extensions

The Boston Bruins signed forwards Charlie Coyle and Chris Wagner to long-term extensions, the team announced Wednesday.

Coyle's deal is for six years, running through the 2025-26 season, with an annual cap hit of $5.25 million.

Coyle, 27, is now the Bruins player under contract for the most years. Brad Marchand's deal runs through the 2024-25 season.

Wagner's contract is for three years, through 2022-23, with an annual cap hit of $1.35 million.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed general manager John Chayka to a long-term contract extension.

Terms of the deal announced Monday were not disclosed.

Chayka has built the Coyotes into playoff contenders since becoming the youngest general manager in North American major sports history at 26 in 2017.
