The Nashville Predators have signed Miikka Salomaki to a two-year contract worth $750,000 in each of the next two seasons.

Salomaki was a restricted free agent.

Salomaki, 25, played 58 games last season for the Predators with two goals and six assists. 

Brady Skjei has agreed to sign a six-year, $31.5 million deal with the New York Rangers.

Skjei was a restricted free agent.

Skjei had four goals and 21 assists for the Rangers last season, and he was the only player on the team to appear in all 82 games.

Tristan Jarry has signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The 23-year-old Jarry is the last of Pittsburgh's restricted free agents to sign with the team. He went 14-6-2 with a 2.77 goals against average last season while backing up Matt Murray.

The Washington Capitals have re-signed Tom Wilson to a six-year, $31.02 million deal.

The contract carries a $5.17 million salary-cap hit through the 2023-24 season. 

Wilson had 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points last season. 

The 2012 first-round pick became a top-line winger this past season playing with captain Alex Ovechkin.

The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Dan Hamhuis to a two-year contract worth a total of $2.5 million.

Hamhuis' contract will pay him $1.5 million during the 2018-19 season and $1 million in 2019-20.

The Capitals are bringing back Brooks Orpik, a leader on Washington's Stanley Cup-winning team.

The 37-year-old defenseman signed a $1 million, one-year contract with $500,000 in performance bonuses. General manager Brian MacLellan announced the move Tuesday about a month after trading Orpik to Colorado to clear salary-cap space.

After leaving the Red Wings organization to be closer to his family in his hometown of Chicago, Chris Chelios was named an ambassador for the Blackhawks on Monday.

Chelios spent a decade with the Red Wings as a player from 1999-2009, and he also has been an adviser for the team. His Hall of Fame career as a defenseman started in Montreal before he spent eight years with the Blackhawks.

The Washington Capitals have re-signed defenseman Madison Bowey to a two-year deal worth $2 million.

General manager Brian MacLellan announced the contract Thursday.

Forward Chris Tierney has re-signed with the San Jose Sharks following a season in which he set career highs in nearly every major statistical category.

The Sharks did not disclose the terms of the two-year deal announced Wednesday.

The Anaheim Ducks' acquisition of Adam Henrique in November went so well that they're keeping the relationship going -- handing the center a five-year extension through the 2023-24 season.

According to multiple reports, the deal carries an annual average value of $5.825 million.
