Letourneau-Leblond's hit from behind on the Canucks' Matt Clackson will also cost him $6,042 in salary, league senior vice president of player safety Brendan Shanahan said.

Jody Shelley of the Flyers has been suspended a total of 10 games and fined for a hit that drove Darryl Boyce of the Maple Leafs face-first into the boards on Wednesday, according to an ESPN.com report.
Shelley will miss the rest of the preseason and the Flyers' first five regular-season games for the hit, which drew a five-minute major for boarding.
