Judge Rules Man Owes Fedorov $60M

A Michigan judge says former Red Wings star Sergei Fedorov is entitled to $60M from a man accused of failing to meet a loan obligation to the hockey player, according to an ESPN.com report. Wayne County Circuit Judge Kathleen MacDonald made the ruling Friday and her clerk confirmed the decision Monday.

Blackhawks star Patrick Kane was indicted Wednesday on misdemeanor assault and theft charges after he was accused of beating up a cab driver over a fare dispute, according to an Associated Press report. The grand jury dismissed a more serious felony charge of second-degree robbery, Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita III said.

The district attorney in Buffalo says he expects a grand jury to announce charges Wednesday against Patrick Kane. Kane is accused of beating up a cab driver over a fare. Kane and his cousin were arrested Aug. 9 after cabbie Jan Radecki, 62, told police they attacked him when he said he didn't have 20 cents change for the fare. The Kanes pleaded not guilty to robbery and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal mischief.
