The Blue Jackets have added forward Tomas Kana to the roster on emergency recall from the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus? AHL affiliate, GM Scott Howson announced today.
Kana was acquired by Columbus along with defenseman Brendan Bell from St. Louis in exchange for forward Pascal Pelletier on December 8.
The club also announced that forwards Jared Boll and Chris Clark will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2009-10 season due to injuries suffered last week.

Modano Plans To Return By Friday
Stars center Mike Modano plans to return to the ice by the end of the week.
Modano hasn't played since having his appendix removed March 15.
He plans to practice with Dallas on Wednesday and Thursday and hopes to play on Friday against Edmonton.
Modano Expected To Skate On Monday
Stars center Mike Modano told ESPNDallas.com in a text on Sunday that he's feeling better and is scheduled to skate for the first time on Monday since his appedectomy on March 15.
The Stars estimated about two weeks for Modano's absence, which would put him back either in Los Angeles on Saturday or in Anaheim next Monday.
Seabrook Returns After Jarring Hit
Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook returned to the ice Friday, two days after a vicious hit knocked him out of a game against the Ducks.
Ducks defenseman James Wisniewski was suspended eight games for the hit in the second period. Seabrook understands Wisniewski likely was retaliating for Seabrook's earlier hit on Ducks winger Corey Perry.
"I don't know why he couldn't have done it a different way," Seabrook said. "The hit I made on Perry warrants a fight or guys run me a little bit out there, but I think there's a better way to do it."
Calgary's Langkow Taken Off On Stretcher
Flames center Daymond Langkow is in good condition after being hit in the back of the neck with a puck.
The team said Langkow has movement in all his extremities and is undergoing X-rays and more tests.
Langkow was not moving as he was removed from the ice on a stretcher. He remained on the ice for nearly 10 minutes before leaving. The veteran was injured at 5:20 of the second period of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Wild.
Philly's Leighton Out 8-10 Weeks
Flyers goalie Michael Leighton will be out of action eight to 10 weeks with a severe high ankle sprain.
Leighton suffered the injury during a 4-3 shootout loss to Nashville on Tuesday.
He is 16-5-2 with a 2.48 GAA and .918 save percentage since joining the Flyers.
Canucks' Samuelsson To Miss Up To 3 Weeks
Canucks winger Mikael Samuelsson will be out up to three weeks with an undisclosed upper body injury during Tuesday night?s loss to the Islanders, according to an Associated Press report.

Flyers goalie Michael Leighton is day-to-day with an ankle injury.
The team said Wednesday that Leighton is scheduled to have an MRI exam Thursday.
He is 16-5-2 with a 2.48 GAA and .918 save percentage since joining the Flyers on Dec. 15.
Modano Out 2 Weeks After Appendectomy
Stars center Mike Modano will miss two weeks of action following an aappendectomy.
Barring any setbacks, Modano would return before the end of the regular season.
"We're going to miss him," Stars coach Marc Crawford said. "You think right away with Mike is his ability to settle things down in intense games and to make a big contribution on the power play. Our power play has struggled here of late and we'd love to have him on that unit. He'll be missed."
Tampa Bay's Malone Undergoes Knee Procedure
Lightning forward Ryan Malone underwent a minor arthroscopic procedure on his left knee today, Executive Vice President and GM Brian Lawton announced. The procedure was performed by Lightning Medical Director Dr. Ira Guttentag.
Malone is expected to be out for 10-14 days. During that time he will also continue to receive treatment for an upper body injury that has caused him to miss three of the previous four games.
