Kings defenseman Drew Doughty hopes to return next Thursday as he recovers from a concussion.
Doughty, who hasn't played since Oct. 20 when he and Hurricanes forward Erik Cole collided.
"I feel good," said Doughty, who skated Thursday but not Friday. "I think right now it's just making sure I am ready to be back in game form."

Devils' Corrente Breaks Left Hand
Devils defenseman Matt Corrente will be sidelined with a broken left hand.
The slumping Devils disclosed the injury on Thursday, but did not say how long Corrente would be sidelined.
Souray Breaks Hand In Fight
Sheldon Souray will be out at least 10 days with a fractured right hand.
Souray broke it during a fight in an AHL game Saturday night.
He's been on loan with Hershey of the AHL while the Oilers continue to try and move him.
Sexton To Have Broken Nose Repaired
Ducks right wing Dan Sexton will have surgery Thursday to repair a broken nose. He is expected to be out of the lineup for two weeks.
Thrashers Activate Pavelec From IR
The Thrashers have activated goalie Ondrej Pavelec, less than three weeks after he collapsed in the season opener, according to an Associated Press report.
The 23-year-old Pavelec returned to practice last week after recovering from a concussion and was activated from injured reserve Monday.
Jackets Activate Jared Boll Off IR
The Blue Jackets have activated right wing Jared Boll off injured reserve, club Executive Vice President and GM Scott Howson announced today. Boll will be a player available for selection for tonight?s game against the Flyers.
Boll was injured during the Blue Jackets? season-opening game vs. the Sharks in Stockholm, Sweden on October 8 and has missed the past six games. He has registered 13-18-31 and 560 penalty minutes in 219 career games with Columbus.

Moreau suffered a broken hand in last night?s game against Anaheim and is out indefinitely. He has registered one goal and one assist for two points, eight penalty minutes and is +1 in five games with the Blue Jackets this season. .
Jordan Staal Practices For First Time Since May
Penguins forward Jordan Staal is practicing with the team for the first time since May.
Staal was unable to work out all summer because of recurring infections in his right foot that developed after a tendon was severed during a second-round playoff game against Montreal.

Red Wings center Johan Franzen left the team's win over the Stars on Thursday night with a head injury.
Franzen was down on the ice with 8:29 left in the opening period following a hit by Dallas defenseman Mark Fistric and had to be helped to the bench.
He called the injury a concussion, but coach Mike Babcock said "I wouldn't use that word."
