Kings Place Viktor Arvidsson On Long-Term IR

Just four games after making his season debut, Los Angeles Kings forward Viktor Arvidsson returned to long-term injured reserve Saturday.

Arvidsson will be sidelined with a lower-body injury after missing the first 50 games of the season following back surgery in October.

Washington Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie left with a noncontact injury in the third period of a 5-3 win at the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.

Oshie went down to the ice after making a move near the offensive blue line. He crawled along the boards to the bench and needed assistance back to the locker room.

Capitals coach Spencer Carbery said there is a "fairly high" level of concern about Oshie's injury.

Dallas Stars forward Evgenii Dadonov is sidelined indefinitely because of a lower-body fracture, coach Pete DeBoer announced Tuesday.

Dadonov logged just 8:35 of ice time in the Stars' 3-2 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

"He had an X-ray in Montreal, and it didn't show anything," DeBoer said. "He came back home, and it wasn't getting any better, so we had more detailed pictures taken, so he's out for a while here. There's a fracture. They're making decisions now on whether screws have to be put in, things like that, but it's not good news."
