The NHL fined the Sharks $100,000 on Saturday for GM Doug Wilson's comments about forward Raffi Torres' suspension, according to an ESPN.com report.

The fine was issued for violation of rules prohibiting formal team statements to the media during the 48-hour period following a disciplinary decision. 

Raffi Torres, who was suspended for the rest of San Jose's second-round playoff series against Los Angeles, has decided not to appeal, Sharks GM Doug Wilson announced Friday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference has been suspended by the NHL for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series with the Maple Leafs for an illegal hit to the head of forward Mikhail Grabovski on Wednesday night, according to an ESPN.com report.
