Phil Kessel has been suspended for the final three preseason games of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kessel slashed John Scott in the Leafs' brawl on Sunday with the Buffalo Sabres.

Kessel was ejected from the game, but he has a clean record and Scott wasn't injured.

The NHL is suspending Paul Bissonnette for 10 regular-season games after the Coyotes forward left the bench to fight during a preseason game, according to an ESPN.com report.
