Islanders forward Colin McDonald has been suspended for two games for boarding Penguins defenseman Ben Lovejoy in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, January 29, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The Islanders announced Friday they have officially suspended 36-year-old veteran defenseman Lubomir Visnosky.

Despite conflicting reports whether he would return or not to fulfill his contractual obligation with the Islanders, he has not yet arrived for training camp, according to ESPN.com.
