Tests from a rape kit show no evidence of DNA from Blackhawks star Patrick Kane in the accuser's genital area or her undergarments, The Buffalo News reported Saturday, citing sources.

Patrick Kane was prepared for anything Friday as he stepped onto the ice in front of Blackhawks fans for the first time since he came under investigation for an alleged sexual assault. 

A majority of the crowd, an estimated 4,000 people, showed its support with loud cheers as Kane began skating with teammates before a scrimmage at Notre Dame's Compton Family Ice Arena.

Slava Voynov is headed home to Russia, according to an ESPN.com report.

Facing deportation proceedings with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, it appears Voynov, a Kings defenseman, took matters into his own hands, releasing a statement through agent Rolland Hedges on Wednesday saying he was leaving.

Blackhawks star Patrick Kane, who is still under investigation for alleged sexual assault, is on the team's roster for its upcoming training camp and definitely will be in attendance when it begins on Thursday, according to a source.

Kane was included on the Blackhawks' training camp roster that was released Wednesday. Earlier Wednesday, a team spokesperson had said "all players listed on the roster released are expected to attend camp."

The NHL has announced that it has signed a seven-year deal to have Adidas produce its uniforms beginning with the 2017-18 season.

Adidas replaces Reebok, which had previously made the NHL's sweaters.

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said there have been no discussions about having advertisements on uniforms.

A grand jury is expected to reconvene in the investigation of Patrick Kane, the Chicago Tribune reported. 

The rescheduled hearing is expected to be held in two weeks, sources told the newspaper. 

Kane has been under investigation after a woman reportedly accused him of sexually assaulting her at his home in Hamburg, New York, last month.

A grand jury hearing into sexual assault allegations against the Blackhawks' Patrick Kane has been abruptly postponed, according to the Buffalo News, which cited law enforcement officials.

The hearing was scheduled to begin Tuesday afternoon. The grand jury, which comprises 23 people, was to review all evidence in the case and vote on whether there was enough evidence to charge Kane.

The reason for the delay was not immediately known.

Kings defenseman Slava Voynov was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Thursday shortly after being released from prison for serving a sentence for domestic abuse.

A number of news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, reported that Voynov was being held at an undisclosed ICE location, pending a hearing.

Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews focused Thursday on the importance of team unity in light of the situation involving teammate Patrick Kane.

Asked on TSN 1290 how he handles a situation such as Kane's, Toews said: "I think you've just got to have confidence that things like that will resolve themselves over time. And for the time being, you stay together as a team, you support your teammate, teammates that are maybe going through a rough patch."

The owners of the Penguins have put the team up for sale, but it will come at a price.

According to Trib Total Media, citing sources, owners Mario Lemieux and Ron Burkle are seeking $750 million for the team and development rights to the 28-acre Civic Arena site.
