Flyers forward Dan Carcillo has been suspended two games for a hit on the Devils' David Clarkson, according to an Associated Press report.
The league suspended Carcillo on Tuesday, forcing him out of the Flyers? upcoming games against the Islanders and Canadiens.

AHL Fines Abbotsford Heat Coach For Tantrum
Abbotsford Heat coach Jim Playfair has been fined by the AHL for his stick-breaking tantrum Saturday night, according to an Associated Press report.
Playfair, a former NHL player and coach of the Calgary Flames, was upset after one of his players was given a 5-minute penalty and game misconduct by referee Jamie Koharski for running into Hamilton?s goalie.

Ovechkin Suspended For Campbell Hit
The NHL has suspended Alex Ovechkin two games for his boarding hit on Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell.
Ovechkin, who was suspended for two games on Nov. 30, 2009, now is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
He will miss Washington's next two games -- March 16 at Florida and March 18 at Carolina.

Wild forward Derek Boogaard has been suspended for delivering a knee hit on Oilers forward Ryan Jones, according to an Associated Press report.
The NHL announced the discipline on Saturday.
Boogaard was assessed a minor penalty for kneeing on the play 7:29 into the first period of the Oilers? 2-1 win Friday night.
