Kings? defenseman Sean O?Donnell has been suspended for the remainder of the Kings? pre-season schedule and two regular season games as the result of a match penalty in a pre-season game against the Islanders, September 22, the NHL announced today.
O?Donnell will miss the Kings remaining three pre-season games, as well as the first two games of the Kings? regular season schedule.
He will be eligible to return October 8 vs. the Wild.

NHL Suspends Lessard 3-Games
Coyotes forward Francis Lessard was suspended for the first three games of the season for his hit on Anaheim?s Ryan Donally over the weekend, according to an Associated Press report on Wednesday.
The NHL also suspended Lessard for Phoenix?s final two preseason games.
Morency Banned 5 Games For Starting Fight
Islanders forward Pascal Morency has been suspended for five regular-season games after leaving the bench to start a fight in a game against the Flames on Thursday night.
He will also miss the remainder of the preseason.
Morency jumped off the bench after Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf knocked out Islanders forward Kyle Okposo with a hit in the second period of the Flames' victory Thursday.
