Leafs Sign Ben Scrivens To Two-Year Contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Ben Scrivens to a two-year contract.

Scrivens, 26, split the 2011-12 season between the Maple Leafs and the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies. The 6-2, 192-pound goaltender played 12 games for the Maple Leafs registering a record of 4-5-2, a 3.13 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. He made his NHL debut, recorded his first win and stopped 38 shots in the Leafs 4-1 victory on November 3 at Columbus.

Tom Anselmi Named President, COO Of Maple Leaf Sports

Larry Tanenbaum, Chairman of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) announced Tuesday that Tom Anselmi has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of MLSE, effective immediately.

“Tom’s proven strength in operations has made him a respected leader here at MLSE and across the sports and entertainment industry,” said Tanenbaum. “His passion for our teams and our fans makes Tom the perfect choice as President and COO of this great organization.”

 Anselmi will oversee all MLSE operations, and report in the interim to the MLSE Board through the Chairman.
