Hiller, Ducks Reach Four-Year Extension

The Ducks have signed goalie Jonas Hiller to a four-year contract extension. Hiller was set to become a free agent after the season. "This is a very exciting day for me personally," Hiller said. "Anaheim has been a great place to play, and I couldn't be happier to stay here." The deal is worth $18 million, a source told ESPN.com.

The Nashville Predators signed German forward Marcel Goc to a one-year extension worth $775,000 on Wednesday, as reported by the Associated Press. The 26-year-old Goc already has a career-high 10 goals in 49 NHL games in his first year with the Predators.

Ducks Sign Cousineau To Three-Year Deal

The Ducks announced on Monday that the NHL club has signed goaltender Marco Cousineau to a three-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed. Cousineau has appeared in 28 contests for Prince Edward Island and Saint John of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in 2009-10, going 12-15-0 with a 3.17 goals-against average and .906 save percentage. He was acquired by Saint John on Dec. 30 and has appeared in three contests with the club since. Cousineau recorded his first shutout of the season in a 4-0 PEI victory over Saint John on Oct. 13, stopping all 25 shots he faced.

Kings Sign Muzzin, Activate Stoll From IR

The Kings have signed defenseman Jacob Muzzin to a three-year entry level contract, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today. The Kings have also activated center Jarret Stoll from the injured reserve list and he is expected to return to the Kings line-up tonight. Muzzin currently plays for the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL. He leads the OHL in points by a defenseman with 46, which also leads his team, and he has also recorded 10 goals and 58 penalty minutes in 37 games this season with the Greyhounds. One season ago, Muzzin was named to the OHL?s Western Conference All Star roster. Stoll has missed the Kings? last seven games due to a lower body injury. In 33 games this season, Stoll has 25 points and 22 penalty minutes. His 10 goals rank fourth on the team, he has a plus-9 rating, which is third best on the team, he is tied for second on the team with three-game winning goals and he leads the team in face-off percentage (54.6).

Lightning Sign G Jaroslav Janus

The Lightning have signed goaltender Jaroslav Janus to a standard three-year entry-level contract today, Executive Vice President and GM Brian Lawton announced. Janus will join the Lightning?s AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. Janus appeared in his first two professional games with the Admirals earlier this season on a Professional Tryout Contract. He recorded a 1.52 goals-against average and .939 save percentage. He made his pro debut on October 14 at Albany, stopping 27 of 29 shots.
