The Wild on Friday signed right wing Carson McMillan to a contract, as reported by Yahoo.com.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A seventh-round pick in 2007, McMillan just completed his fourth season with Calgary of the WHL, registering 31 goals and 41 assists in 68 games.

Hasek To Play For Czech Team
Dominik Hasek will come out of retirement to play for his former club team in the top Czech league, according to a Yahoo.com report.
The goaltender agreed to play next season for HC Moeller Pardubice, a club he started his career with, Hasek and club representatives told a news conference in Prague on Tuesday.
The 44-year-old Hasek will be the oldest player in the league, and Pardubice has an option to extend the contract by one more year.
Wild Re-Sign D Scott To One-Year Deal
The Wild on Monday re-signed defenseman John Scott to a one-year deal for $550,000, according to an Associated Press report.
Scott was eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer, so this leaves the team with one less player to address while their front office staff is in a state of flux.
Sabres Sign Top Two Picks From 2007 Draft
The Sabres have signed defensemen T.J. Brennan and Drew Schiestel, their top two picks from the 2007 draft.
Both players agreed to three-year, entry level contracts and will begin in the 2009-10 season with Buffalo.
Brennan was the 31st overall selection, while Schiestel was 59th.

Coyotes Sign F Justin Bernhardt
Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Justin Bernhardt to an entry level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Bernhardt, 21, recently completed his fifth season in the Western Hockey League (WHL) where he led Prince Albert in scoring with 35-57-92 in 72 games. He also ranked 5th in the WHL in points and T-7th in assists. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Bernhardt set career-highs in goals (35), assists (57), points (92), penalty minutes (104) and games played (72) this season. He was also named a WHL Second Team All-Star following the season.
A native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Bernhardt appeared in 307 career WHL games with Prince Albert, Kelowna and Regina, recording 103-139-242 and 389 penalty minutes (PIM). He also appeared in six playoff games in 2006, collecting 2-4-6.

The 22-year-old Pearce recently completed his senior season at Notre Dame, posting a 30-6-3 record with eight shutouts. The 6-1, 201-pound native of Anchorage, Alaska led the nation in wins and shutouts while finishing second in GAA and fifth in save percentage.
Tampa Bay Signs Free Agent D Kinrade To ATO
The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed free agent defenseman Geoff Kinrade to an amateur tryout contract, Executive Vice President and General Manager Brian Lawton announced. Kinrade will report to Tampa Bay.
Kinrade, 6 foot and 207 pounds, has played in eight games with the Admirals this season, recording one goal and four points with a plus-3 rating. Before joining the admirals he appeared in 38 games with the Michigan Tech Huskies of the WCHA, recording three goals and 16 points. Kinrade was tied for second on the team in assists and was tied for fourth in points. He also served as an alternate captain for the Huskies this year.
A native of Nelson, British Columbia, Kinrade has played in 150 career games in four seasons at Michigan Tech. He registered 14 career goals and 61 points. In 2007-08 he led all Michigan Tech defensemen with five goals and 19 points in 39 games.
