The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed right wing Dan Sexton to a two-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed. Sexton, 21, appeared in all 38 games with Bowling Green this season, collecting 17-22=39 points with 20 penalty minutes (PIM). Among Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) leaders, Sexton ranked tied for fifth in scoring and fifth in goals. He was also tied for second in the CCHA with two shorthanded goals, tied for fifth with 18 power play points and tied for ninth with three game-winning goals. Sexton earned honorable mention from the CCHA in March when the 2008-09 All-CCHA First and Second Teams were announced.
