The New Jersey Devils have hired Sheldon Keefe as their new head coach, a source confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday.

Keefe's deal with the Devils is for four years, a source told ESPN's Emily Kaplan.

The Los Angeles Kings removed the interim tag and named Jim Hiller as the club's 30th head coach Wednesday.

ESPN's Kevin Weekes reported that Hiller agreed to a multiyear contract.

The first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs have been the most-watched in the U.S.

Going into the conference finals, the playoffs are averaging 1.16 million viewers across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS and truTV. That is a 9% increase over last year.

Vancouver Canucks right wing Brock Boeser is not expected to play in Game 7 of their second-round series against the Edmonton Oilers on Monday because of a blood-clotting issue, a source told ESPN, confirming a report.

There's no timeline for his return to action. The Canucks had no comment on Boeser's status.

Milan marks the return of NHL players to the Olympics after missing the past two Games.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have hired Craig Berube as head coach.

Berube replaces Sheldon Keefe, who the Leafs fired on May 9. Berube was fired by the St. Louis Blues in December.

"We're not waiting," Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving said May 10. "We're going to be thorough. This isn't something that's going to be hastily done, but we certainly know that there's some quality candidates out there. We want to get them as fast as we possibly can."

A consultant the Chicago Blackhawks hired to improve relationships with American Indian tribes has filed a lawsuit accusing the team, its charity foundation and its CEO of fraud, breach of contract and sexual harassment.

Nina Sanders filed the civil action late Tuesday in Cook County Circuit Court. She alleges in the lawsuit that the Blackhawks were facing intense public pressure to change their name and logo in 2020. The team's CEO, Danny Wirtz, hired her that year to serve as a tribal liaison.
