The Stars will honor Jamie Langenbrunner with a pregame ceremony prior to the forward's 1,000th career NHL game on Monday night against the Kings. Langenbrunner, acquired from New Jersey recently, didn't expect to be playing his 1,000th game in a Stars uniform when the season began back in the fall. "Well, this is not the spot I thought I would be at the beginning of the year, that's for certain," Langenbrunner said. "I am pretty excited about it. It's definitely a personal accomplishment to stay in the league this long, and I feel very fortunate and blessed to have played with some great teams and great players. "It's nice that the team is doing this for me. I feel a little awkward with me just being here a few days, but it shows how first class this organization is. It's very nice of them."
