Senators coach Cory Clouston may be on thin ice after general manager Bryan Murray refused to give him a vote of confidence Wednesday. Clouston is in the final year of his contract and may be facing a couple of must-wins Friday against the Blackhawks and Saturday versus the Lighting. "I'm not going to answer a question like that because I don't know," said Murray. "We go to Chicago. We come home and play Tampa. We go on the road the following week. I can't answer that honestly. I've talked to the staff about that. We're all in a position where we have to do a better job."
