The Kings have agreed to terms on a three-year entry level contract with defenseman David Kolomatis, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today. Kolomatis, 21, played in 76 regular season games this past season with the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL and he ranked tied for second among club defensemen in points with 29 (tied for seventh among league rookie defensemen), tied for second among club defensemen in goals with eight, tied for second among club defensemen in assists (21) and tied for first among club defensemen with five power-play goals. Originally selected by the Kings in the fifth-round (126th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, the 5-11, 189-pounder is a native of Livingston, New Jersey.
