Blues defenseman Darryl Sydor has retired after an 18-year career, according to an Associated Press report on Tuesday. The 38-year-old Sydor played for six NHL teams, including the Stars where he totaled 334 points and 401 penalty minutes in 714 games. He earned back-to-back All-Star selections in 1998 and 1999, and was on Stanley Cup champions with the Stars in 1999 and 2004 with the Lightning.
