Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that goaltender Chad Johnson has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL, and goaltender Steve Valiquette has been assigned to Hartford. Johnson has appeared in 30 games with Hartford this season, posting a 14-11-2 record with a 2.45 goals against average, a .915 save percentage and three shutouts. Johnson returns to the Rangers where he has posted a record of 1-2-1, along with a 2.35 goals against average, a .919 save percentage and one assist in five appearances this season. Valiquette has posted a record of 4-5-1, along with a 3.73 goals against average and an .877 save percentage in 11 appearances with Hartford this season.
