Senators goaltender Brian Elliott, Avalanche goaltender Craig Anderson and Penguins center Sidney Crosby have been named the NHL 'Three Stars' for the week ending January 24.
FIRST STAR -- BRIAN ELLIOTT, G, SENATORS
Elliott won each of his four starts last week, posting a 1.25 goals-against average and .957 save percentage, as the Senators (28-21-4) climbed to fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
SECOND STAR -- CRAIG ANDERSON, G, AVALANCHE
Anderson went 3-0-0 with a 0.33 goals-against average, .988 save percentage and two shutouts, helping the Avalanche (30-15-6) extend their winning streak to a season-high six games and remain atop the Northwest Division.
THIRD STAR -- SIDNEY CROSBY, C, PENGUINS
Crosby notched eight points (three goals, five assists) in three games, helping the Penguins (32-20-1) record victories over a pair of Atlantic Division foes.
