Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that forward P.A. Parenteau has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL. Parenteau has skated in 14 games with the Rangers this season, registering one goal and four points. He tallied his first career NHL goal in his Rangers debut on October 28 at the Islanders, and recorded his first NHL multi-point performance with two assists on November 23 against the Blue Jackets. Parenteau returns to Hartford where he has tallied 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points, along with 22 penalty minutes in 13 games this season.
