The Kings have placed forward Brandon Segal on the injured reserve list (retroactive to Dec. 2) with a lower-body injury, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced on Tuesday. Segal suffered the injury during the Kings-Ducks game Dec. 1 in Anaheim. The 6-2, 209-pound native of Richmond British Columbia was recalled from the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) on Nov. 23 and made his Kings debut Nov. 25 at Edmonton. In four games with the Kings, Segal had zero points and zero penalty minutes. In 21 games with Manchester this season he had 14 points (6-8=14) and 34 penalty minutes.
