Patrick Kane spent more time in the gym this offseason as he tried to deal with an arrest last month. "It was just one incident, one night and there's a lot that people don't know about it," Kane told the Chicago Tribune. "I'm looking forward to moving on and getting past it. I'm excited about the upcoming season. "It's always fun to be with the guys and do something you really love in playing hockey. You have to enjoy that and look forward to getting this whole thing behind you." Kane was arrested Aug. 9 following an altercation with a cab driver in Buffalo. He eventually pleaded guilty to a non-criminal violation of disorderly conduct and avoided jail time. "This is the hardest summer I've ever worked out," Kane said. "People might not think that because of the incident that happened, but my body feels awesome going into camp. I feel really good. Before I came to camp I worked out 15 out of 17 days back in Buffalo, about three hours a day. It was an intense training [program] the Blackhawks gave me, but I'm hoping it's going to pay off."
