Tomas Vokoun, goalie for the Predators, will undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb on Monday and is expected to miss two to six weeks in recovery. Vokoun suffered the injury about halfway through the second period of Thursday?s 6-0 win over Vancouver. He remained in net for the remainder of the second, but was replaced by goalie Chris Mason in the third. On Friday, Vokoun saw hand specialist Dr. Phil Coogan and team physician Dr. Michael Pagnani, and the decision was made to perform surgery.
