The lawyer for a minor-league hockey player says his client has been sentenced to one year and one day of prison for slapping a flight attendant, head-butting a passenger, and exposing himself on an American Airlines flight from Toronto to Dallas, as reported by the Associated Press on Monday.
David Cornacchia of Toronto plays for the minor-league team Florida Everblades based in Fort Myers. Michael Francis Hornung says the sentence also includes supervised release for three years, including substance abuse and anger management programs, plus a fine.
