Luc Bourdon, the 21-year-old Vancouver Canucks' defenseman who was killed in a motorcycle accident last week, was mourned on at a New Brunswick ice rink on Sunday, according to ESPN.com.
"We offered the rink as a chapel, and it was the family's decision," owner Gilles Cormier said. "[Bourdon's mother] said yes because that was his life, he was always here, and that's where he'd want to be right now."
"We were not ready for this. I don't think anyone is ready for this," Cormer, who coached Bourdon, added. "But we've had a lot of support from [people] all over the country that call us to help us."
