Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby said he hopes to play Sunday when the club hosts the Flyers, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Thursday. The team captain sat out Wednesday?s win over Buffalo Sabres due to soreness in his injured right ankle. Crosby had played in the team?s previous three games after sitting out 21 straight contests with a high-ankle sprain. The team may also have Marian Hossa back for the nationally-televised game. Hossa sprained MCL in his right knee during his first game with the team on February 29 and has not played since.
