The Red Wings on Tuesday agreed to terms with Daniel Cleary on a new five-year contract, as reported by Yahoo.com. Financial terms were not disclosed, but TSN of Canada is reporting the left wing will receive $14M over the length of the deal. ?We?re very pleased to have Dan continue as a member of the Red Wings for the next five years,? Detroit GM Ken Holland said. ?He?s found a home with our team and city, and at 29 years of age, we feel he is just beginning to hit the prime of his career.? ?It?s been an exciting process,? Cleary told the team?s web site. ?It?s one of my proudest days ever. It?s amazing.?
