Ryan Huska and the Calgary Flames have agreed to a two-year contract extension that will begin next season. Huska was on an expiring contract.

Huska was hired by the Flames in June 2023 to replace Darryl Sutter. Huska was added to the Flames’ coaching staff as an assistant in 2018 before being named head coach five years later.

Huska has a 79-67-20 record as an NHL head coach.
