The Kings have acquired forward Daniel Carcillo from the Blackhawks in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today.
 
Carcillo, 27, has spent the last two seasons with the Blackhawks.  In 23 games last season, he had three points and 11 penalty minutes.  In four postseason games with Chicago he had one assist and six penalty minutes.
 
The native of King City, Ontario has appeared in 333 regular season NHL games during his career, posting 87 points and 1,079 penalty minutes.  In 37 career playoff games he has 12 points and 75 penalty minutes.
 
Carcillo was originally selected by the Penguins in the third round (73rd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
