Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with free agent forward Arron Asham. Asham, 34, skated in 64 games with the Penguins last season, registering five goals and 11 assists for 16 points, along with 76 penalty minutes. He has skated in 756 career games over 13 seasons with the Canadiens, Islanders, Devils, Flyers, and Penguins, registering 92 goals and 114 assists for 206 points, along with 940 penalty minutes. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Asham will be the first player in NHL history to have skated for all five current Atlantic Division teams once he makes his debut with the Rangers.
