The Blue Jackets have assigned goaltender Allen York to the Springfield Falcons, the club’s AHL affiliate, Blue Jackets Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations and GM Scott Howson announced today. York, 22, has appeared in four games with the Blue Jackets this season, going 0-1-0 with a 3.53 goals-against average and .878 save percentage. He made his NHL debut against the Red Wings on October 25 and made his first NHL start at Chicago on October 29. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.84 goals-against average and .871 save percentage in five games with Springfield.
