The NHL on Sunday suspended Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference three games for his Saturday hit on Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh. Ference will foreit $36,486.48 in salary during the suspension. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
