Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur was characterized as day-to-day after he was forced to leave Thursday night's 2-1 shootout victory over the Kings with upper body soreness. Brodeur said he tweaked his right shoulder while making a diving save on Los Angeles defenseman Alec Martinez's point shot with 7:57 remaining in the first period. "I should be fine," said Brodeur, who plans on traveling with the team to Nashville for their Saturday contest against the Predators. "I was fully extending my shoulder and I just fell on it."
