Evgeni Malkin, who missed Sunday's game because of a lower-body injury, will not play Tuesday in the Penguins' home opener against the Panthers. Malkin, who has a goal and an assist in two games, was injured Saturday night in a 5-3 win against Calgary. "He has soreness and will not be available for tonight's game," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said. "We do not think it's long-term or anything other than just being sore at this point and time."
