The Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with forward Kevin Westgarth, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced on Monday. Westgarth, 27, played in 56 regular season games with the Kings last season, recording three points (all assists) and 105 penalty minutes (second on the team). He also played in all six Kings playoff games and registered two assists and 14 penalty minutes. Westgarth had one year remaining on his contract. The new extension runs through the 2013-14 season.
