The Avalanche announced today that the team has signed forward T.J. Galiardi to a one-year contract through the 2011-12 season. Galiardi, 23, was limited to 35 games this past season due to two separate injuries. He missed 17 games due to a wrist injury from Nov. 12 to Dec. 15 and missed the final 28 games of the season due to a forearm injury suffered on Feb. 9 at Minnesota. The Calgary, Alberta native finished with seven goals and eight assists for a total of 15 points. "We are glad to have T.J. under contract," said Avalanche GM/ Executive Vice President Greg Sherman. "We expect him to report to camp fully healthy and ready to go." The Avalanche also announced today that the club has signed forward Patrick Rissmiller to a one-year deal. Rissmiller, 32, played for five different teams in 2010-11, which included two NHL clubs as well as Colorado's AHL affiliate.
