Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk scored with 12 seconds left to lead the team past the Ducks 5-4 on Saturday night.
The goal capped an entertaining game that was cleaner than the team's season-opening meeting but still left plenty of hard feelings.
Henrik Zetterberg had two goals and two assists for the Red Wings, who rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the second period.
