The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Jason Chimera off injured reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Chimera is expected to return to the lineup tonight when the Blue Jackets host the defending Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings. Chimera, 29, has missed the past 16 games due to injury. He has notched 7-11-18, 31 penalty minutes and is +9 in 31 games this season. In 404 career games, the Edmonton, Alberta native has recorded 72-79-151 and 408 penalty minutes.
