Lightning Assign Heward To Norfolk

Press Release - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Jamie Heward to Norfolk of the American Hockey League it was announced by Lightning Executive Vice President & General Manager Brian Lawton.

Heward, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound native of Regina, Saskatchewan, played in one game after being recalled on November 23. He logged 16:07 of ice time with two shots on goal and three blocked shots versus the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.

He was signed as a free agent during the preseason and appeared in three games for the Lightning to open the season, recording two assists, before being reassigned to Norfolk on October 19. With the Admirals this season, Heward has tallied five goals and seven assists in 12 games. [READ]
