Kings Sign G Martin Jones To Three-Year Deal

Press Release - The Los Angeles Kings have signed goaltender Martin Jones to a three-year entry level contact, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Jones, 18, has been participating in Kings training camp on a tryout basis. He played in 27 games this past season with the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League, and recorded an 18-8-1 record, a 2.12 goals-against-average, a .911 save percentage and one shutout. He also played in five playoff games.

Jones is a 6-1, 165-pound native of North Vancouver, British Columbia. He played with the Hitmen in 2006-07 and had a 9-4-3 record, a 3.03 goals-against-average and a .884 save percentage. [READ]
